1. Purpose of This Policy

At Al Fanan Jewellery LLC, we take great care in producing custom-made jewellery according to the specifications provided by the customer.
However, due to the nature of handcrafted jewellery, minor variations in gold weight may occur.

This policy defines when a refund is applicable and how weight differences are handled.

2. Acceptable Weight Difference (Tolerance Limit)

For custom-made items, a weight variation of up to:

✔ 1 gram (either higher or lower)

is considered normal and acceptable.

Within this tolerance:

• No refund is issued

• No compensation or adjustment is applied

• Customer is considered to have accepted the final weight

This is standard practice in the jewellery industry due to manual craftsmanship, polishing, setting, tooling, and finishing processes.

3. When the Customer Is Eligible for a Refund

If the final delivered product differs by more than 1 gram (higher or lower) compared to the weight agreed during order confirmation, the customer becomes eligible for a refund.

Refund covers only the gold portion, based on:

• The difference in weight beyond 1 gram, multiplied by

• The current prevailing gold market rate (21K/22K/24K depending on the item)

This ensures fair compensation based on actual gold value.

4. How to Request a Refund

To begin the weight-difference review process, the customer must:

Notify Al Fanan Jewellery within 7 days of receiving the product.

Notifications can be made through:

• WhatsApp

• Phone

• Email

• In-store visit

4.2 Provide Certified Weight Verification

You must provide a weight measurement from an approved jeweller or a certified scale.

This step ensures fairness and prevents measurement errors.

4.3 Product Inspection by Al Fanan Jewellery

Once reported & verified:

• The product must be physically brought to our store

• Our team will re-check and confirm the weight using calibrated professional equipment

• If verified, the refund will be processed accordingly

5. What the Refund Includes

Refund is issued only for:

• The excess gold weight beyond the 1-gram tolerance

• Based on the market gold rate of the verification date

Refund does not include:

• Making charges

• Stone weight

• Diamonds or other materials

• Design/labour costs

• Polishing or finishing charges

• Delivery or service fees

6. Exceptions (When Policy Does Not Apply)

This policy does NOT apply to:

• Ready-made jewellery

• Standard store items

• Items purchased from promotions or Zero Making collections (unless custom-made)

• Damaged, altered, or resized items

• Items weighed on uncertified or inaccurate devices

• Weight fluctuations caused by removal of stones, changes in design, or resizing

This policy covers custom-made jewellery only.

7. Policy Revisions

Al Fanan Jewellery reserves the right to update or revise this policy at any time.
The updated version will apply to all new custom orders placed after the revision date.
